Jazz musician Estelle Perrault (張婷雅), a French Taiwanese, is a rising star in the French jazz field. Her exposure to various cultural backgrounds as she grew up in Taiwan and France served as inspiration for her musical invention. She loves Taiwan and views it as her main source of artistic inspiration.

The mother of Estelle Perrault is Taiwanese, while her father is a French engineer. Her parents separated when she was six years old. She left for France along with her father and sister, but she continued to travel back to Taiwan for her annual winter and summer vacations to see family. At the age of 18, she immigrated to Taiwan to pursue her education in law. She started a jazz music group with like-minded friends when she was a law student in Taiwan, which eventually gave her the chance to pursue a career as a jazz vocalist.
Estelle Perrault visited France once more when she was 24 years old. She continues to pursue her legal studies while also regularly performing in jazz concerts. The Paris jazz field has been very supportive of her and has even invited her to join several renowned orchestras. In 2020, she also issued her debut album.

Estelle Perrault once stated in an interview that Taiwan was the source of her artistic inspiration, and her first song that she wrote on her own was dedicated to her grandmother. She also noted that Taiwan is her native country and that it is a very tolerant environment for her.
