Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, schools have stopped face to face classes, but changed to online teaching instead. After the summer vacation starts on July 3, students will have more time for their own activities. Like before, the Ministry of Education (MOE, 教育部) reminded parents to pay attention to the safety of the students with their activities and to avoid the danger of illegal drugs.

The MOE reminds that the current epidemic situation is still severe and advised the students to avoid going to public places and to always wear face masks, wash hands regularly and implement other personal protection measures.
Parents can arrange for more normal leisure activities to improve their children's physical and mental health. If there are emergencies, they may contact the school for help. In addition to epidemic prevention, the summer vacation is a period of high risk with illegal drugs. The MOE reminds the public to be aware and prevent young people from being exposed to trying drugs by their peers or by people outside the school.

The MOE also reminds students to follow traffic rules and not to drive without a license or to drink and drive. When engaging in various outdoor activities, they should consider their physical abilities, not to overexert and to be aware of the weather.
