Singapore's largest supermarket chain will hold the Kaohsiung First Choice Agricultural Products Festival(高雄首選農產品節), featuring colored peppers and guavas. According to the standard operating procedures for export, Taiwan’s Council of Agriculture (COA, 台灣農委會) has recently shipped pineapples to Singapore for testing, and the quality has been approved by all parties. Local supermarkets recently held the 2021 Best of Taiwan Agricultural Products Festival (2021 Best of Taiwan) in stores across the island. Products include guavas, Kyoho grapes, Jinhuang mangoes, Aiwen mangoes, pears, carrots, colored peppers, sweet potatoes, shiitake mushrooms and more.

The Taiwan representative to Singapore (駐新加坡代表), Liang Kuo-hsin (梁國新), said that the Kaohsiung City Government and Singapore supermarket operators jointly organized an agricultural products festival to help Taiwan farmers export and bring their Taiwanese fruits and vegetables to Singapore. Most agricultural products in Singapore are imported and in terms of agricultural product sales, "Taiwan and Singapore is a complementary market" (台星是互補市場). If the quality is good and the price is acceptable, there are no cultural barriers to the export of Taiwanese agricultural products to Singapore.

In addition, the COA has also cooperated with the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore (駐新加坡台北代表處). At the end of April, according to the standard operating procedures for export of pineapples, 450 boxes of pineapples were shipped to Singapore for testing, and the cold chain temperature was monitored throughout the shipment’s journey. After the pineapples arrived in Singapore, it was distributed to Taiwan companies, overseas Chinese, and Singapore distributors for tasting.
