The national level 3 alert has been extended once again greatly impacting the lives of many. The Tainan City Government responded in accordance with the needs of the public, especially for those not included in the original relief plans. The "4.0 Relief Operations Plan" for the first time includes foreigners possessing permit residency cards. Their working hours will be included in subsidies. This relief operations plan also includes new immigrants and foreign spouses. Applications will be accepted on June 28.

The Ministry of Labor (MOL) grants an allowance of NT$ 10,000 for part-time workers. The acceptance period is from June 28 to August 31. Recipients are those participating in labor insurance since April 30 and have monthly insured wages. Those with wages less than NT$ 23,100 are not allowed to repeatedly receive the subsidy. Foreign spouses and others meeting the qualifications can apply.

The Director of the MOL, Wang Hsin-chi stated that to allow workers to receive living allowances as soon as possible, people must make use of online registration systems (To avoid the risk of exposure in public areas).
