The National Human Rights Museum of the Ministry of Culture is hosting the "2023 Taiwan International Human Rights Film Festival," with "We Will Not Fade Away," directed by Ukrainian director Alisa Kovalenko, serving as its opening film. "We Will Not Fade Away," the festival's opening film, depicts the "Donbass" region at the intersection of Ukraine and Russia before the conflict broke out in February 2022. People were in a panic since there was already a prospect of war in Ukraine, but the common people could do nothing except go about their daily lives.
This film, according to director Alisa Kovalenko, is about the inner light that may dispel the shadows. She that documentaries can preserve precious memories and allow the audience to be inspired and resonate through them.
