National Immigration Agency (NIA) has been promoting the “Carefree Covid-19 Vaccination Program” that adopts four principles including “won’t be reported”, “won’t be seized”, “won’t be charged for any fee”, and “won’t be banned”. Furthermore, NIA also collaborates with religious groups, associations and other Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) to assist in disseminating the multilingual information and tabulation of names.
It is hoped that foreign nationals, including undocumented migrant workers and overstayers will be encouraged to get vaccinated soon.

NIA stated that the “Carefree Covid-19 Vaccination Program” will be implemented until January 31, 2022. During the program, the overstayers will not be investigated or reported while getting vaccinated at the designated sites.
The public security organs will not perform inspections near the vaccination sites, and the individuals do not need to surrender to the immigration office before getting vaccinated.
