Nguyen Thi Thuy Xue (阮氏水雪) from Vietnam wed Taiwan shortly after earning her degree from university. She faced discrimination and prejudice from her husband's family due to her foreign spouse status, and she had to carry the responsibility of caring for her ailing husband and little children alone.
When Nguyen Thi Thuy Xue (阮氏水雪) was at her lowest, she got to know the Yunlin County Social Care Association. She was able to overcome her sadness with the association's help. She put her all into the cooking and preparation of Vietnamese food, enthusiastically participating in a variety of vocational training programs to get certifications. Nguyen Thi Thuy Xue teaches Vietnamese to promote Vietnamese culture and raise awareness of the Vietnamese cultures by making Vietnam's traditional national costume with other new immigrants in Taiwan.

Nguyen Thi Thuy Xue, who holds a university degree from Vietnam, actively pursued her hairdressing, mother tongue teaching, interpreting, and Class B and Class C chef certificates with the help of the Yun Lin County Social Care Association. She did this to care for her ailing husband and small children. She pursued further education with comparable credentials, graduating from TransWorld University in 2023 with a master's degree.

With the help of Lai Huihua (賴惠華), Director-General of the Yun Lin County Social Care Association, Nguyen Thi Thuy Xue also applied for the New Women's Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program, fulfilling her ambition of launching a company. Thuy Xue made the decision to use her home as a shelter to aid those who have experienced domestic abuse or whose families are struggling financially in order to express her gratitude to everyone who has supported her. She also decided to prepare food for those in need, thereby giving back to the community and providing a sense of social warmth.
