According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Bernadette Sembrano-Aguinaldo, a broadcast journalist, has learned so much from her COVID-19 experiences that she found some new ones even after testing negative lately.

Sembrano uploaded a photo and footage of her journey to a desolate park with her cat Uni on her Instagram page yesterday, Jan. 11, enumerating her realizations.

"Tests are not always trustworthy," she learned, "depending on how samples are taken and even when they were taken." A negative test, she believes, can sometimes provide "a false sense of security."

She believes that even if one is already vaccinated, one should avoid choosing indoor options.

"Avoid going inside — may eksperto para diyan" (Experts have a reason for that). "Just do it," she said emphatically.

She also reminded individuals that masks and social separation are still appropriate.

Apart from these conventions, she believes that everyone should quit blaming one another if they want to live in peace. She believes that blaming others is unproductive and "just creates friction," and that people should instead encourage one another and learn from their mistakes.

"It's possible to have no symptoms or to honestly overlook it!" You also don't know if you're hallucinating things sa panahon ngayon (in these times now)," she added.

According to Sembrano, people should not be in denial, especially if they have been careless and may have infected others.
