Swedish YouTuber Lukas Engström who has been living in Taiwan for the past 10 years, introduced Taiwan on his YouTube channel. His channel consists of topics ranging from life in Taiwan to its culture. Engström mainly uses English in his videos and talks a lot about Taiwan's current events. Some new topics he discussed during the epidemic are the recent typhoon "煙花" (in English: "fireworks"),  the 2021 Taiwan International Balloon Festival, and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Lukas Engstrom expressed his pride in how Taiwan was able to control the COVID-19 virus in under 2 months. During the nationwide level 3 alert, Taiwan implemented strict safety measures such as wearing masks, contact tracing, and fines for violators.

Engström talked about his own country, Sweden, and how it is 13 times the size of Taiwan with a population less than half of that in Taiwan. Because of its small population, it is easy to maintain social distance in Sweden. However since the outbreak began in October 2020, it is still not completely under control. Engström said, "This is why I am proud to live in Taiwan."

After the epidemic alert was downgraded to level 2, the 2021 Taiwan International Balloon Festival in Taitung popular among locals and tourists was held successfully. Lukas Engström stated that this event is significant to him because this was the theme of his first-ever YouTube video that he filmed in Taiwan. At the time, he just purchased a new GoPro and decided to film videos he can share with his friends and family back home. Engström said, "I made the right decision to do this in Taiwan"

In the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, a Japanese female anchor introduced Taiwan's team as "Taiwan" instead of "Chinese Taipei", which received a lot of reactions from the audience. Many people were excited about Judoka (Judo practitioner) Yang Yung-wei (楊勇緯) who entered the event for the first time and won a silver medal, being the first Judoka of Taiwan to receive a medal in the Olympic event. Wang has won several medals in major international competitions since 2017. Engström believes that Yang's award is well deserved.
