The "Post-epidemic Improvement and Expansion of Employment Plan" was introduced by the Ministry of Labor of Republic of China (Taiwan) to address the industry's labor shortage. It establishes guidelines for the extent of professional openings and pay requirements to reward workers, as well as numerous subsidies for the hospitality and catering sectors. The two facets of employment and encouraging companies to hire help businesses to meet their additional personnel requirements.

The monthly compensation for housekeepers and cleaning staff openings in the hotel business is NT$30,000 in the northern area and NT$28,000 in other regions, according to the Ministry of Labor. Unemployed individuals who are successfully paired with employers through employment service organizations may be eligible to receive a monthly "employment incentive" of NT$6,000. For a maximum of 12 months, an extra NT$3,000 will be given if the site of employment is in a rural region, bringing the total to NT$9,000.
