Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (TRTC) has finished 21 station announcements in Japanese and Korean as a result of the rise in visitors from Japan and South Korea. In order to enhance overall service quality and foster a more welcoming tourism environment for international visitors, the station name signages for these 21 stations will also be finished by the end of August.

According to TRTC, the MRT stations that have completed the announcement in Japanese and Korean are Taipei City Hall, Tamsui, Shilin, Taipei Main Station, Zhongshan, Dongmen, Taipei 101/World Trade Center, Ximen, Longshan Temple, Jiantan, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Beitou, Xinbeitou, Minquan West Road, Songjiang Nanjing, Zhongxiao Xinsheng, Guting, Nanjing Fuxing, Zhongxiao Fuxing, Daan and Nangang Exhibition Hall.

The "Taipei MRT Go" APP will also be available in Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, and other languages, according to TRTC, and foreign tourists may use the mobile app to search for information such as bus tickets and route maps.
