The Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor, Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli Regional Branch promotes the "Youth Cross-Regional Employment Allowance" for those between the ages of 18 and 29 or those under the age of 18 but first-time job seekers who graduated from high school are recommended by public employment service agencies to work in places 30 kilo meters away from their homes. In addition to receiving financial aid for transportation costs related to finding a job, people who must rent a home will also get 60% of the rent as financial aid. The maximum subsidy can be given for relocation is NT$30,000.

According to the second phase of the "Investment in Youth Employment Program" launched by the Ministry of Labor, it includes a transportation subsidy for job-seeking of up to NT$2,000 per year and a transportation subsidy for off-site employment of up to NT$3,000 per year, according to the Director of The Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor, Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli Regional Branch. For renting apartments, the maximum monthly subsidy is NT$5,000, and for relocations, the maximum monthly subsidy is NT$30,000. The entire amount of the subsidy is NT$60,000, and it can last up to a year. To aid young job searchers in finding work with peace of mind, relocation subsidies are limited to a maximum of NT$30,000.
