Almeida said that she accidentally stumbled on some Taiwanese pop songs, which inspired her to apply for a scholarship this year and will soon bring her to Kaohsiung to continue her Chinese studies. Almeida said that she was excited to experience Taiwan's election culture and watch Taiwan's quadrennial presidential election when she visited Taiwan this time.

More than 60 Argentinians and Uruguayans have applied for Taiwan scholarships to study green energy, urban and health intelligence, agricultural technology, and national development in Taiwan. After completing their academic work, they return to their countries and contribute what they have learned in various fields, greatly enhancing the educational and cultural exchanges between Taiwan, Argentina, and Uruguay, according to Florencia Miao-hung Hsie, the representative to Argentina.
