According to the MOC, the "Youth Cultural Gardener Team-Taiwan Youth to Southeast Asia, New Zealand and Australia Exchange and Cooperation Subsidy" project has been launched so far, subsidizing many young people to travel to Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, New Zealand, Australia, and other countries. Through social field research, shared learning workshops, documentary filming, participation in art festivals and other projects, many kinds of transnational exchange activities are carried out such as about Austronesian aborigines, marriage equality, and museum digitization. To recruit young talents with potential to participate in the Southeast Asia exchange program, the maximum age limit of the program host has been adjusted to 45 years old (the remaining group members should be between 20 and 35 years old).
