The Mainland Affairs Council expanded the sixth short film selection contest (eye台灣win兩岸) this year and invited new immigrants to participate in order to continue the narrative of interactions between the mainland China and Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. This was done so that the world could witness the spirit of diversity, friendliness, and freedom in Taiwanese society.
