In addition, the MOFA pointed out that this cooperation agreement has been promoted since 2017. The MOFA, the Ministry of Justice (MOJ, 法務部) and the Taiwan representative office in Slovakia (駐斯洛伐克代表處) have negotiated for more than 4 years and 3 months, and finally reached a consensus and successfully signed the agreement. The MOFA believes that this agreement will help strengthen Taiwan's institutionalized cooperation in combating transnational crimes.
