According to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC), individuals aged 18 or older who have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine for 12 weeks are urged to get a booster dose as soon as possible. Taipei’s Vaccination Booking System will offer service to citizens starting January 10. The system will be accessible Mondays and Tuesdays (for this week: January 10 and 11) to accept reservations for the following week (during this period, users can make appointments for January 17 through 21). Appointments for the first dose, second dose, and booster shots for all COVID-19 vaccine brands (AZ, BNT, Moderna, and Medigen) will be based on availability.

Department of Health, New Taipei City Government launched three vaccination programs. Starting from today, individuals who are eligible for the programs can make an appointment via the websites of each clinic and hospital.

Besides the original 481 contracted medical institutions in the city, medium-sized, large-sized vaccination stations and mobile vaccination stations will be added from January 13 to 15. People who have not been vaccinated with two jabs or the booster shot are urged to get vaccinated as soon as possible

In addition, the Department of Health, New Taipei City Government plans to hold a three-day vaccination event from January 13 to 15. From 8:30 am to 11:30 pm, and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Moderna COVID-19 vaccines will be provided at Sanchong Arena (三重小巨蛋), Yung-Ho Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall (永和國父紀念館), Ying Ge Yong Fu Gong (鶯歌永福宮), and the second floor of Xizhi District Office (汐止區公所).
