Taoyuan International Airport: 4-minute PCR tests for arriving passengers

Taiwan is actively managing the arrival of passengers from *7 high-risk countries. Aside from quarantine protocols and screening stations, Taoyuan International Airport Corporation also implemented 4 PCR tests for arriving passengers at the airport.

General Manager of Tan Chao-pi (但昭璧) Taoyuan International Airport Corporation said that aside from those arriving from the 7 high-risk countries, all other arriving passengers must take the PCR test upon arrival. PCR tests will also be administered on airport shuttle buses, with 120 security and staff all around the area to help in epidemic prevention.

Results from the tests will be announced within 24 hours of testing and will not be disclosed on the spot. For those under quarantine, please cooperate for your own safety and for the safety of others. Airport security staff will work together with the police and immigration units in this operation.
