The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) declared on February 20 that,

after evaluation of global and domestic epidemic tendencies as well as domestic medical and public health capacities. From March 1^st, it will no longer provide home-use Covid-19 antigen rapid tests for arrivals and close contacts of confirmed cases.

If the general public need rapid test, it is available on a variety of channels, including pharmacies, supermarkets, retail channels for cosmetics, etc.

2023 Jiufen Red Lantern Festival starts from now to March 26th!

The New Taipei City Government held the "Jiufen Red Lantern Festival" for the first time, featuring the local custom of holding a torch to patrol the mountain to pray for blessings and connecting several well-known scenic spots in Jiufen with the Red Lantern Festival. An Oversea Student from Myanmar Self-report and return home safely.

An overseas Chinese student (阿山) from Myanmar, comes from a poor single-parent family. He dropped out of school because he could not afford the tuition fees.

and was unable to return home due to the epidemic and the political turmoil in his home country, Myanmar. He went to the NIA Changhua County Specialized Corps to self-report and realized that National Immigration Agency is promoting the "Expanded Overstayers Voluntary Departure Program" and only requires a fine of NT$2,000, which made him relieved. Now thanks to the “Expanded Overstayers Voluntary Departure Program” that he can return home to work and take care of his mother. He thanked NIA for the program, so that fellows who have overstayed in Taiwan can return home with peace of mind.
