In 2021, the National Immigration Agency (NIA) launched a program for "Free Wi-Fi & Rent-free Service of Tablet or Laptop for New Immigrants", through "Surfing the Net. & Contactless Teaching. New immigrants can apply to borrow equipment by calling the hotline or visiting various service stations. They must remember to return them before their due date. The sooner you apply, the sooner you can experience digital learning!

Vietnamese new immigrant Hsiao-ching 小青 applied to borrow a tablet in 2020, however they applied after the event so they were unable to make use of the free digital services. This year, through the consistent promotion of the NIA, Hsiao-ching was finally able to borrow a tablet and improve their typing skills and gain more digital learning experiences.

Director of the NIA Kinmen County Service Station Liao Wei-lan 廖蔚蘭 stated that a lot of new immigrants are taking advantage of the opportunity provided by the NIA.
