Tainan motor vehicles office is open for "driver's license exams during holidays" and provides translation services for new immigrants!

The Tainan Motor Vehicles Office (台南監理站) will be open for motorcycle license exams for office workers and students during holidays starting September 18 (from 8am to 12nn). The road traffic safety seminars will also be held for those who need to attend due to traffic violations. There will be a dedicated team to provide translation services for "New Immigrants". To avoid gatherings during the epidemic, on-site registration is not accepted, only online appointments are accepted, and new immigrants are welcome to sign up.

Please go to the "Motor Vehicle Driver Information Service") (監理服務網) or download the Motor Vehicle Driver Information Service APP to make an appointment. Proceed to choose to register for the exam → make an appointment for the exam → enter the type of license application for the exam, the expected test date, and the test location (first choose the Chiayi District Motor Vehicles Office (嘉義區監理所) before the Tainan Motor Vehicles Office (臺南監理站) can be chosen) or go to the nearest motor vehicles office and make an appointment at the full-service counter.

To reduce the number of casualties in motorcycle accidents, the Directorate General of Highways, Ministry of Transportation and Communications (交通部公路總局), announced that starting May 3, applicants with a car driver’s license who is applying for a motorcycle driver’s license should still take a written test to promote driving safety. In addition, the Tainan Motor Vehicles Office has set up a "bilingual service counter" at the lobby on the first floor and provides computers that can use GOOGLE software to translate multiple languages. It can be used by foreigners and new residents who do not know Chinese. There is also a foreign language service team to assist.
