The great performing arts group "Dunqing Dance Troupe" (敦青舞蹈團) from Taoyuan City produced the performance program "Taoyuan with New Immigrants"《看見桃源-移路有你》to promote multiculturalism. It will tell the tales of new immigrants using a variety of techniques, including dance, drama, and sound. And by the end of August, it will have its formal debut.

The Dunqing Dance Troupe (敦青舞蹈團) was founded in 2003 and has since performed throughout Australia, Japan, and China in addition to being repeatedly chosen as Taoyuan City's top performing arts group. The subjects of the performance include local life elements from indigenous communities, Southern Fujian, Hakkas, and military dependents' villages. The dance troupe also pays attention to foreigners and new immigrants, particularly Taoyuan, which has Taiwan's highest concentration of immigrant workers.

This year, the dance troupe's "Taoyuan with New Immigrants" production, which features 16 professional dancers and 20 amateurs, has the new immigrants as its topic. The troupe's leader stated the hope that through performing, these amateur actors might better grasp their heritage and Taiwan's rich culture. He also hoped that it would help Taiwanese citizens better appreciate the hardships faced by new immigrants and foster social tolerance.
