In Hualien County, the most significant World Organic Youth Summit came to a successful conclusion. This two-day event covered local market growth through marketing seminars, and it was attended by 62 international representatives and visitors in addition to 300 Taiwanese individuals. Through marketing workshops, the development of the local market into the international market, as well as various organic applications in life and prospects were under discussion.

In addition to discussing issues like slow food, the organic regenerative agricultural movement, the dependability of local foods, and ecological preservation, the summit featured presentations from the Philippines, South Korea, and Sri Lanka on how to connect with the local market. Speakers from the UK, Japan, Belgium, and South Korea shared their perspectives on organic living appropriate for all ages, including the application of non-food organic sectors in textiles, cosmetics, genetic modification, and organic agriculture. Topics like the anti-genetic modification movement in South Korea were also discussed.
