Taiwan-New Zealand Promote Women's Participation in International Trade

According to the Bureau of Foreign Trade, MOEA, Taiwan and New Zealand, seeking to promote women's participation in international economic and trade activities, organized an online forum for female business leaders and invited outstanding female entrepreneurs from Taiwan and New Zealand.

The Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT), Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association (CIECA), and New Zealand Business Council (NZTBC) cooperated for the online forum.

Participants discussed the innovative leadership of female entrepreneurs, for example, how they created effective strategies to respond to the pandemic. Besides the forum, more than 20 highly qualified female entrepreneurs from Taiwan and New Zealand are holding the month-long Online Business Exhibition on innovation, digital trade, culture and creativity, environmental protection, agricultural specialty products, and green energy. The exhibition seeks to help female entrepreneurs through business matchmaking and create an environment conducive to women's growth, success, and pursuit of dreams.
