  • The winners of the 8th Taiwan Literature Award for Migrants are now revealed

There has been a lot of discussion in Taiwan over several television and film productions themed with migrant workers. A total of 7 winning pieces were chosen for the 8th Taiwan Literature Award. With "Memories of Roses," by the Vietnamese author Vo Thi Diem Thu (武豔秋/ Wu Yen-chiu) won the first place.

The organizer promised to compile the winning pieces for publication and to adapt some of the excellent stories for future scripts.

  • Registration is now open for the National Multilingual Parent-Child Reading Activity

To promote international ethnic integration and multicultural inheritance and innovation, the K-12 Education Administration, Ministry of Education invites students from all schools to take part in the "National Multilingual and Multicultural Picture Book Parent-Child Reading Experience Selection Activity."   • Taichung to host the 2023 National Day fireworks with rehearsal on September 18

Taichung Central Park will host the launch of the National Day fireworks in 2023.

The City's Civil Affairs Bureau announced that 1,500 fireworks will be released in Taichung Central Park on September 18 for 5 minutes starting at 9 p.m. as rehearsal of National Day celebrations. On the day of release, traffic control will be implemented, and certain road segments will have restrictions on the movement of people and cars.
