Kaohsiung Service Center creates COVID-19 multiple language posters for foreign workers

As Taiwan is back to the COVID-19 alert,  National Immigration Agency  and  Kaohsiung Service Center  are also providing the latest coronavirus updates to foreign workers. Along with the Labor Affairs Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government, NIA has been sharing coronavirus news in multiple languages at shopping hotspots. The languages include Filipino, Vietnamese, and Indonesian.   

Aside from promoting the NIA new measurement for foreign workers, NIA also reminded people to always keep the mask on when leaving home, and avoid unnecessary gatherings.

Many foreign workers use public transport, therefore NIA decided to print out Covid-19 prevention posters to explain the latest government prevention measurements.

NIA also says that there are 23 rapid screening test stations in Kaohsiung. People should make the rapid COVID-19 test appointment if they have been to the following locations below and experience COVID-19 symptoms.

The symptoms including, fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, diarrhea, etc.

The locations include: 

People who have been to Taipei or New Taipei after May 1  

People who have been to a BBQ shop (串門子燒烤店)

People who have been to Hanshin Arena Shopping Plaza from May 15 to May 20.

 

For those who do not show these symptoms, remember to wash your hand with soap, keep your mask on, and avoid unnecessary gatherings (keep social distances when going out).
