2021 New Immigrant Empowerment Workshop, new immigrants are welcome to sign up!

Department of Labor, Taoyuan City Government launched the program “2021 New Immigrant Empowerment Workshop” which is targeted at the new immigrants to improve their employability skills and get more entrepreneurial opportunities. Registration starts from today till November 20.

The Curriculum of the short-term intensive courses combines multicultural & professional employability skills. It is hoped that by encouraging new immigrants to participate in the workshop, they will develop marketable skills and improve their quality of life. New immigrants are welcome to participate actively. If you are interested, please fill in the registration form.

2021 New Immigrant Empowerment Workshop

1. Decoupage training course

Class date: November 24 to 25, 2021

Class location: Taoyuan Tudigong Culture Museum - 501 Conference Room (No. 100, Section 1, Sanmin Road, Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City)

2. Bulrush weaving

Class date: November 26, 2021

Class location: Room 302, Taoyuan Labor Education Hall, Taoyuan City（3rd Floor, No.650, Minsheng Road, Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City）

Course registration details

The target audience will be people above 15 years old and priority will be given to new immigrants. Each person is limited to one course only. Registration will be on a first-come-first-serve basis with priority given to the new residents.
