To encourage youth employment, the Ministry of Labor (MOL) has launched a Youth Employment Incentive Program that would give recent graduates who have worked for three months a reward of up to NT$30,000, the foundation said.

Those possessing a graduation diploma in the previous academic year 2020, including master and doctoral students who received theirs before October can participate in the program.

 The program applies to fresh graduates whose graduation certificates were issued between September 1, 2020, and September 30, 2021.

Wu Shu-ying 吳淑瑛, deputy head of the Employment Services Group of the Work Development Agency (WDA) said that due to the epidemic, the Ministry of Education (MOE) was delayed in processing the applications for masters and doctoral students. Therefore, these students can participate in the program as long as they graduated in 2020 and received their graduation diploma before October 2021.
