Numerous performances are held every year from June through October as part of the SummerStage Music Festival, which has been around for 37 years. Taiwanese performers have participated in the music festival for four years running beginning 2016, driven by the “Taiwanese Wave" team. Taiwan, however, hasn't taken part in the event in four years owing to the pandemic. Taiwanese singers will reappear at the SummerStage as the pandemic eases this year.
