Hakka-painted trains and Hakka music were introduced by Taoyuan Airport MRT as an invitation to the World Hakka Expo.

Taoyuan Airport MRT not only increased the number of MRT to relieve the congestion, but also played Hakka music on the 7 station platforms between A16 Hengshan Station and A22 Laojie River Station and organized special events to welcome the World Hakka Expo hosted in the Qingpu neighborhood. The public may experience Hakka culture by taking the painted MRT with Hakka totems.

To enable the general public to preserve this commemorative value, Taoyuan MRT Corporation also introduced four Taoyuan MRT World Hakka Expo Commemorative One-Day Tickets for just NT$250, which is NT$70 less than the initial cost of the standard one-day ticket introduced by the MRT Corporation.

The World Hakka Expo will run through October 15th, according to the Taoyuan Airport MRT, and the venue will be split into three main locations in Qingpu: "Hakka Main Exhibition Area" in Taoyuan Sports Park Station, which includes the World Exhibition Hall, the Taiwan Exhibition Hall, and featured marketplaces, The second is the "Cultural Landscape Area" at A18 Taoyuan HSR Station, which offers visitors access to the Laojie River landscape installations and Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts' night light projection show. The final is the "Multicultural Landscape Area" near the A17 Linghang Station, which includes Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center and International Indigenous Cultural and Creative Industrial Park.
