The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts will hold the "Wonderful You: Senior Art Life Festival" from November 14 to 24, showcasing the results of the "Creative Aging Project." This event includes the "Creative Aging Course Exhibition," the "Cross-Domain Learning Forum," and the "Vintage Happiness Market." Through static and dynamic exhibitions, forums, and markets, it aims to promote the important role of culture and art in an aging society, injecting vitality into Taiwan as it moves toward a super-aged society.

The exhibition will be held at the Yingcai Gate Hall of the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts from November 14, with eight major art health programs as its theme. On November 16, a special screening and discussion of the film "Invite Grandpa and Grandma to Shoot a B-Grade Zombie Movie" will take place, where director Hsu Tzu-Jou will share how elderly people with dementia participated in film creation, breaking stereotypes about dementia. Director Hsu hopes that through this documentary, audiences can see the beauty and vitality of the lives of elderly people with dementia and invites everyone to laugh, adventure, and fulfill dreams together with them.

On November 23 and 24, the event will focus on the theme of "Creative Aging." Experts will gather at the lecture hall of the museum to discuss modern issues related to elderly cultural care during the "Cross-Domain Learning Forum." Meanwhile, Bei-Lin Plaza will host the "Vintage Happiness Market," inviting organizations such as the New Homeland Cultural Foundation and the Green Light Arts Foundation to participate in the curation. The market is designed with a nostalgic retro theme, attracting craftsmen and silver-haired experts aged 65 and above to showcase their skills and collaborate with young artists to create cross-generational artworks."Senior Art Life Festival: 'Inviting Grandpas and Grandmas to Shoot a B-Grade Zombie Movie' Warm-Up Screening and Discussion" (Photo / Courtesy of the Ministry of Culture Website)

The market will also promote the "Home Art Companion Package," allowing the public to experience the joy of creating art at home. Through activities like weaving, carving, and painting, participants can experience the creativity of aging together with elderly artists, showcasing the limitless potential of the senior community.

The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts sincerely invites the public to watch the comedy documentary featuring elderly participants on November 16, and to join the market events on November 23 and 24, interacting with seniors from across the country, experiencing their timeless skills, and enjoying the joy of creative aging life together.
