To participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, or APEC, long-term focus on the region, the Ministry of Education specially organized "The 2023 APEC Industry-Academia Collaboration Workshop," inviting a total of 21 representatives from 11 11 APEC member economies and 102 representatives from major Taiwanese universities. By establishing Taiwan's industry-university cooperation talent nurturing model, collaboration in human resources development and education seeks to increase Taiwan's contribution to regional digital talents and the sustainable growth of AI technology.

The need for digital talent in all APEC economies and other areas has increased by double as a result of new requirements and problems brought on by digitalization, according to MOE Political Deputy Minister. In order to encourage inclusive talent development, this workshop will examine how to employ transformation technologies.

In order to gain a thorough understanding of the application outcomes of cross-field integrated research and development of precision electromechanical and AI software, MOE stated that the workshop's second day would include a visit to National Taipei University of Technology's City Science Lab, which was jointly established with Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Through this intimate interaction, it is believed that economies may construct stronger cross-regional communication networks, connect cross-regional talent cultivation, foster creative skills that fulfill practical demands, and support the long-term advancement of AI technology.
