"The Scholarship Program for Immigrants & their Children" organized by National Immigration Agency has begun! The online registration period is from February 20th to March 20th, 2023. The qualifications are children of new immigrants who are currently studying at elementary school elementary school or above, new immigrants at high (vocational) school or above, and new immigrants who have obtained "Republic of China Technician Certificate" in past 3 years. A reward ranging from NT$2,000 to NT$30,000 will be issued.

Taiwanese government came to Turkey’s aids by sending search and rescue teams for the earthquake. The government and the public are also actively donating. In addition to the 2 million US dollars donated by the government, donations from the Taiwanese people have exceeded 30 million US dollars as of February 17. In addition to charity donations, Taiwanese people also donated materials such as warm clothes and sleeping bags, and the influx exceeded expectations in just two days. The new Turkish immigrants in Taiwan and many generous people went to help sorting out the supplies. Turkey's representative in Taiwan expressed his gratitude to Taiwan for its assistance in Turkey's disaster relief and praised the Taiwanese people for their kindness and generosity.

Many new immigrants hope to learn entrepreneurship to support the family while reduce the financial pressure of it. Lin (林懿玲), a new immigrant from Thailand, gave up her high salary and created her own brand(添玲玲日曬拌麵), making Taiwan's traditional sun-dried noodles popular abroad. Mochou(莫愁), a new immigrant from Vietnam, founded the Vietnamese live stream e-commerce company (麥金越南直播台) in Taiwan, with a yearly revenue of more than NT$ 100 million. The Ministry of the Interior also encourages new immigrants to obtain a technician certificate and introduces incentives to provide new immigrants and their children with a reward of NT$30,000 for obtaining a Class A technician certificate.

The "2023 Sian Hong Tiau" (2023掀風潮) series of activities organized ed by the North Coast & Guanyinshan National Scenic Area and Tourism Bureau, MOTC. In the three major scenic spots of Heping Island Geopark, Lover Lake Park and Lake Bay, with three concepts, “Sound Walk,” “Winter Swimming,” and “Soup House.” The activities will last for a month from February 11th to March 12th, inviting people to come to the North Coast to experience a different winter limited tour.
