According to the latest statistics from the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC, 指揮中心), at present, the COVID-19 vaccine reservation system platform has a total of 99,7971 people willing to register for vaccination and chose MVC COVID-19 vaccines, of which 173,120 people are interested only in the local MVC COVID-19 vaccines, and no imported vaccines like AZ and Moderna were chosen.

6,251,797 people are willing to receive the AZ vaccine or the Moderna vaccine, accounting for 51.08%; at the same time, 33,899 people chose the AZ vaccine or the MVC COVID-19 vaccine accounted for 0.28%. 129,088 people picked the Moderna vaccine and the MVC COVID-19 vaccine, accounting for 1.05%. Regardless of the brand of vaccine, whether AZ, Moderna, or MVC, a total of 661,864 people were willing to get vaccinated, accounting for 5.41%. If the number of people who are willing to receive only MVC vaccines and those who picked MVC vaccines among multiple choices of COVID-19 vaccines are added up, a total of 997,971 people are willing to get the MVC COVID-19 vaccines.

In addition, the CECC pointed out that the Medigen Vaccines Biologics Corp. (高端疫苗生物製劑股份有限公司) developed MVC COVID-19 (2019 coronavirus disease) vaccine passed the emergency use authorization (EUA) in July. The first four batches of MVC COVID-19 vaccines have been inspected and the seal certificate has been issued, with a total of 265,528 doses of vaccines. The sealing operation is in progress, and the validity period is about 6 months.
