Peach Blossom Dancing in Spring Wind Celebration of New Immigrants event will be held on 12/10

This year, the Ministry of the Interior, together with the Taoyuan City Government and the Mainland Affairs Council, jointly organized the 2022 Immigration Festival multicultural event "Planting New National Strength, Immigrants Heart Homeland", will be grandly opened in Taoyuan on December 10 (Sat). The performance of "Thai Friends Indonesian Dance Club" kicked off. Lin Hongen, deputy director of the Immigration Department, and Gao Anbang, deputy mayor of Taoyuan City, hand-made Indonesian traditional batik peach blossom scarves, and announced that the event will be grand.

December 18th is the United Nations International Migrants Day, and it is also my country's Migrants Day. Lin Hongen, deputy director of the Immigration Department, said that the main visual design of this event, especially the beautiful and blooming Taoyuan City Peach Blossom, symbolizes the beautiful scenery where new residents gather. The "White Swan" of the Immigration Department pulls the flags of all countries, and Taiwan is the second home of the new residents.

Gao Anbang, deputy mayor of Taoyuan City, pointed out that Taoyuan is very suitable for new residents to live in. The central government and the local government have devoted effort and resources in organizing activities, hoping to work together for the well-being of new residents.

The Immigrant Festival will be held in Taoyuan Women's Hall and Yanping Park. In addition to the market, people can experience multi-national food and handicrafts for free, and break through games. There will also be enthusiastic Brazilian samba dances, as well as wonderful dances performance from Japan and Thailand.

"Four themed exhibition areas" will be planned on-site, displaying the achievements of government counseling, the stories of new residents and migrant workers, "immigrant stories", as well as art and photography works. hoping that everyone can experience the art and culture of various countries through exhibitions and performances.
