The tuition fees in Taiwan are cheaper than in other Asian countries. FiFi Fiona originally wanted to study in South Korea, but she decided to come to Taiwan to study because she applied and received a scholarship from a Taiwanese school. FiFi Fiona and many Malaysian friends choose to study in Taiwan for another important reason. They watched many Taiwanese TV series since they were young, and they saw that Taiwan is beautiful and they were attracted to study in Taiwan. After graduation, because they liked life in Taiwan, they chose to stay and work in Taiwan.

FiFi Fiona and friends believe that even though they have lived in Taiwan for many years, sometimes they still have some "language barriers." Sometimes, some popular terms and slang in Taiwan make them unable to join the laughter of the Taiwanese.
