Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) and the Taiwanese company "Maji Treats" organized a "Taiwan Manga Grocery Store" event in August of this year, establishing a Taiwan Manga section at the Kintetsu Department Store. Additionally, the event collaborated with "Tohan Corporation," the biggest book’s dealer in Japan, to put up Taiwan Manga-specific sections at three "Book 1st" bookstores in Osaka during the event in order to sell Taiwan Manga works that have already been translated into Japanese.

Since 2020, according to TAICCA, it has organized annual promotions in Tokyo for Mangas and other published works. It sold the Japanese copyrights to more than 8 Taiwan Manga after hosting a promotion event in 2022. In addition to taking place in Osaka this year, the marketing event also featured a first-time partnership with Tohan Corporation.

According to TAICCA, the Japanese market is more tolerant of Taiwan Manga and more eager to encourage commercial collaboration because of Taiwan Manga's propensity for being Japanese styled, its variety of subjects and aesthetics, and the cultural similarity between Taiwan and Japan. Taiwan Manga may thus use the Japanese market as a chance to connect with the global market and develop Taiwan's content brand.
