According to the "4wayvoice" report, migrant workers in various parts of Taiwan work very hard. For example, industrial migrant workers have a higher risk of occupational accidents, while family migrant workers often become victims of sexual harassment. This year, to strengthen the service and care for migrant workers in the county, the Pingtung County Labor and Youth Development Department (屏東縣勞動暨青年發展處) planned 4 sessions of occupational safety, workplace safety, sexual harassment, and other related promotional activities, for migrant workers from 4 countries including Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand. There were two sessions of walking study tours for migrant workers from the Philippines and Vietnam, which includes eating and window shopping for migrant workers to get to know and understand Pingtung.

What’s more special is to let them get to know Pingtung better through the market walking tour. Director Huang personally accompanied and participated. The former chairman of the Yazaki Labor Union, Kung Chi-Hung (龔啟宏), the current chairman Huang Shu-Mei (黃淑美) and the company’s associate Hideo also participated.
