To compile information on welfare and rights related to new immigrants’ lives, employment, education, health, etc. from various government agencies, The Ministry of the Interior National Immigration Agency (NIA) set up themed sections and created a Line official account (ID @ifitw) in 7 languages including Chinese, English, Vietnamese, Indian, Thai, Myanmar, and Cambodian. The information is categorized into ‘counseling’, ‘law advocacy’, ‘education & learning’, ‘training & employment’, ‘health & welfare’, ‘multicultural promotion’, and ‘statistical data’, etc.

To further promote the information services offered by the government and encourage new immigrants and their children to utilize the website – ‘New Immigrants Development Information’, an event is scheduled on November 20 (Saturday).
The event named ‘Empowered New Immigrants & Heart Connection’ will be held at 2 pm at the Sunshine Hall(陽光大廳)of Daan Park Station to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the ‘New Immigrants Development Information’ website.

In addition, the review of the 5 past years will be shown to share the stories of the website going through the journey of new immigrants. Everyone is welcome to participate enthusiastically.
During the event, lucky draw prizes of home appliances will be provided such as dish dryers, LCD monitors, and air purifiers. Welcome everyone to sign up on November 20, 2021 (Saturday) from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, online registration will be open at the event site.
