Google Maps has officially launched its "Immersive View," which enables users to explore more than 500 scenic locations around the world in an immersive manner and check the weather, traffic, and surrounding conditions of the searched location at any time, among other things. The "Immersive View" was built using billions of street view images and aerial images. Nine locations in Taiwan are listed on the list of scenic areas that were opened in the first wave.

Google claims that "Immersive View" creates a comprehensive 3D model using AI technologies, long-term aerial imagery, street view photos, and data, allowing users to recreate light at different times. Users may recreate the light at various times. In four cities—Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Dublin in the UK, Florence and Venice in Italy—weather patterns and other scene changes are presently fully operational, while selected landmarks are offered in additional nations and locations.

Nine destinations, including Taipei 101 Observatory, Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall, National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, are among the 500 scenic spots that were first introduced to the globe.

Anyone interested in experiencing it may use Google Maps to choose a suitable area, click on the "Immersive View" label, and then use the new feature to freely adjust the viewing angle and watch weather sceneries at various times.
