In the Taiwanese comedy "Marry My Dead Body," (關於我和鬼變成家人的那件事)  several genres—including fantasy, the paranormal, LGBT, and others—are combined to create an engaging and affecting narrative. It is released one after another in in Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, and Cambodia in addition to Taiwan.

According to director (程偉豪), who has always wanted to try his hand at comedy. Additionally, he aimed to dispel prejudices with this work by developing the plot along the primary idea of "turning misunderstanding into understanding" and incorporating it with other themes like same-sex marriage and Taiwan's ghost marriage traditions. He thinks it's crucial to accurately portray the relationships, feelings, and humanity amongst the characters in order to make the work pleasant, full of warmth, and even hilariously bring in the serious topics of today's concerns.

Jolin Tsai, who received the Golden Melody Award, was invited to perform in the movie's theme song "Untitled" (親愛的對象) and took part in its development and production. Additionally, the movie topped Taiwan's box office on its first day of release, and by 2023, it is the fastest Taiwanese film to gross over $100 million.

"Marry My Dead Body" will be released on March 29, in Singapore, on March 31, in Vietnam, on April 7, and at the Hong Kong International Film Festival on April 1 and 3.
