Jannik Obenhoff, a German photographer with more than 700,000 followers on Instagram, excels at capturing scenic views. A few years ago, when Obenhoff was only 17 years old, he traveled to Taiwan and uploaded photos from Alishan and Taroko on Instagram. Obenhoff's photographs inspired acclaim from European internet users who described them as “a fairyland.”

A few days ago, Obenhoff was invited to travel to Taiwan to take part in the Lantern Festival. Aerial views of uncharted locations and street scenes in Taiwan are included in the photographs captured this time, in addition to the lovely lantern festival and Taiwan's fairytale-like mountains and forests. It received more than 250,000 likes in a week. Many European followers said that they must include Taiwan in their trip plans after viewing these stunning pictures of the country.

Obenhoff began his photographic career at the age of 13, having always had a desire for the outdoors. In numerous European nations, including Germany, Italy, and Austria, he captured renowned hills and thick woods. A few years back, he made his first trip to Taiwan. He've never been to Asia before, and although he was only in Taiwan for a week the last time, he still remembers the stunning landscape of Taroko and Alishan.

Obenhoff made more camera gear arrangements this time when he traveled to Taiwan again. Even Taiwanese were astounded by the landscape he captured in aerial photographs. Many Europeans on the internet have been compelled to share the pictures since they were posted. Some said that it had changed their perception of Taiwan, and some even voiced a wish to visit Taiwan to see it all for themselves. The phrase "like a dream" was specifically translated by some international internet users to characterize it.

According to Obenhoff, Taiwan has earned a special place in his picture collection.
