To welcome the first ray of sunshine in 2020, many visitors have already planned to go for mountain Ali's sunrise. Alishan Forest Railway and the Administration of Cultural Heritage announced that Alishan Forest Railway Zhushan Sunrise Train has started accepting phone reservations for a group of more than 30 people. There are only 2,760 pre-sale tickets, sold till supplies last.
To transport the visitors who are going to watch the first ray of sunrise in 2020 at Alishan National Forest Recreation Area and the Administration of Cultural Heritage indicated that Alishan Forest Railway Zhushan Sunrise Train has started accepting phone reservations for a group of more than 30 people from 9 a.m. on December 10. The pre-sale tickets accounting for 2,760 tickets have been divided into ten periods from 1:50 a.m. to 4:25 a.m. Every call can only reserve 100 tickets while supplies last.
Apart from the pre-sale tickets for groups, the first floor of Alishan station will also be open for general visitors to reserve tickets from 1 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on December 31. Each person is limited to 10 tickets,
and if any tickets left, people can get tickets at 1:20 a.m. on the first day of 2020. Moreover, people who buy complimentary tickets should present related documentary identifications (6 to11-year-old children, the elderly who is more than 65 years old, and physically and mentally challenged people).
