For many immigrant families, year-end festivities are a time of reunion, but they can also be filled with longing and bittersweet emotions due to distance and cultural differences.
"Mom, why don't you ever visit Grandma during the New Year?"
"Remember that year we had a huge fight over the remittance receipt?"
Each conversation captures fragments of love and memory, reflecting the unique experiences of immigrant families.

Organized by the Nanyang Taiwan Sisterhood, the "Immigrant Family Two-Generational Story Platform Project" is now open for submissions. The project aims to collect stories from immigrant family members, encouraging them to bridge cultural and generational gaps through writing. By sharing these narratives, the project hopes to foster understanding and connection among family members while showcasing the resilience and diversity of immigrant families to society.
