Every country has its own culture and as you travel to different places, you realize how different they are compared to the country you're from. Vietnamese YouTuber XiaoYang came to Taiwan to study and work. On her YouTube channel, she shares different interesting facts about living in Taiwan.

  1. Taiwanese people obey rules especially when lining up. XiaoYang said "Taiwanese people don't just line up like everybody else, they can wait in a really long line! For example, the mooncake shop in Changhua usually has very long queues.
  2. Portable water bottles. When XiaoYang came to Taiwan, she noticed a lot of people carried their own water bottles. She was confused at first because people don't normally carry water bottles in Vietnam. The schools in Vietnam would provide a big container and of water and drinking cups to the students. Now, she also has the habit of carrying her own water bottle.

  1. Wearing masks. When XiaoYang came to Taiwan, she noticed that Taiwanese people have the habit of wearing masks. In Vietnam, people didn't wear masks when they catch colds. However, because of the recent COVID-19 epidemic, everyone is required to wear masks. XiaoYang stated that Taiwanese people usually wear masks even if there is no virus going around.
