"The UN Climate Change Conference COP25" (2-13 December) has taken place in Madrid, Spain. The representatives accounting for more than 20,000 from all over the world gather together to have a deep discussion about several issues, such as climate change, global warming, and environmental protection.
The chairman of Taiwan Hakka Association of Spain, Li Wantang, states that the ambassador of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Spain, Liu Deli, actively arranges for Taiwan and the representative of the association to participate in the conference. Additionally, to present Taiwan's capability of contributing to fighting with global warming, Ambassador Liu also leads his coworkers to use their creativity to promote Taiwan's competitiveness through an advertising slogan, "Combating Climate Change, Taiwan Can Help" combined with the design of Tung Blossom subways and buses passing through the streets of Madrid. The purpose is to respond to overseas Hakka families and to let the world know that Taiwan is very willing to assist in environmental protection and climate change.
The Hakka families take the subway only to take a look at the trains with Taiwan's Tung Blossom passing through the streets in Madrid. When they see the familiar Tung Blossom coming into view, they shout, "Taiwan is awesome! Good Job, Taiwan!", and there are some Hakka people's eyes running over with tears and saying, "I have been in Spain for 40 years, and I have never felt so touched. It reminds me of my home".
