Registration for 2023 Language Study Program for Compatriot Effective today to January 27th

The Overseas Community Affairs Council, Republic of China (Taiwan) has scheduled a spring class for 2023 Language Study Program (Distance Learning) to improve Chinese language ability of overseas Chinese youngers. From February 4^th to April 9^th. The registration is due on January 27^th, and 200 students are expected to be enrolled.

Recruiting target:

1, Applicants must age 12 to under 24 living overseas, enthusiastic about learning Chinese and holds an i Compatriot Card.

2, New overseas Chinese students who study in general universities, Overseas Youth Vocational Program (OYVTP) 2-year Associate Degree Classes, Overseas Youth Vocational Program (OYVTP) 4-year bachelor’s degree Classes in Taiwan are preferred. The application must be attached by a recommendation letter from the Taiwanese embassies or sponsor unit.

2023 Language Study Program for Compatriot

Course content:

1, Chinese Language Teaching, Chinese computer input and Global Chinese Network Introduction

2, Lectures on Studying in Taiwan: The website of the workshop introduces the ways of entering a higher school such as domestic general colleges, two-year and four-year Associate Degree Classes, and Overseas Youth Vocational Training Program Special Classes. Three lectures are planned to be held, and overseas students or school faculties from general university schools, two-year and four-year Associate Degree Classes, and Overseas Youth Vocational Training Program Special Classes are invited to share their experience and school system online.
