"Road to Legacy," produced by TaiwanPlus, is a co-production with Legacy Taipei, a renowned music performance live house. It was shot over a two-and-a-half-year period. Alternative rock band Tizzy Bac, indigenous soulstress ABAO, Malaysian singer Namewee, and R&B crooner LINION are among the ten bands featured in the docuseries.
Joanne Tsai, who spoke at the occasion, remarked that TaiwanPlus aims to create a platform for showcasing Taiwan's rich, innovative culture, which thrived under the country's vibrant democracy. Following the success of the TaiwanPlus Film Festival, which featured an online selection of ten renowned Taiwanese films, the platform is now attempting to "bring Taiwan to the world" through the country's thriving independent music industry.
