VietJet Air to resume international flights to Taipei from January 1

VietJet Air announced on December 24 that it will resume scheduled international flights, including Taipei, from January 1, 2022. According to a statement on the civil aviation authority's website, these countries include China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Laos, Cambodia, and the United States.

The routes resumed in the first phase will have at least one round-trip flight every week, and the number of flights will continue to increase in accordance with the demands and government policies to ensure flight operations and effective disease prevention. For the second phase, it is planned to restart all international flights, including international flights to India and Russia.

VietJet Air reminds that passengers must comply with local disease prevention and control measures and immigration policies such as vaccine passports, the negative nucleic acid test (PCR) report, quarantine, and accommodation information, etc.

Passengers can also go through the entry and exit clearance procedures from the VietJet Air website and use the QR code to update at any time. VietJet Air will provide services with A321 and A330 aircrafts for international flights.
