National Dong Hwa University Experimental Primary School held the "International Joint Flag Raising Ceremony" for three consecutive years. Recently, 12 national flags were raised, which stand for 11 different countries of foreign teachers and parents of student enrolled in the school.

Dong Hwa Primary School raised 12 national flags including the United States, Australia, Canada, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, the Republic of China, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, allowing teachers and students to see their own national flags in the school any time.

Principal Bao, Ming-Jun(鮑明鈞) said that going overseas for exchanges and visits is just one aspect of international education. More significant foreign culture and identity courses should be developed in addition to the already existent international tours, exchanges, and teddy bear projects. The elementary school's theme for this international education is "Family from all over the world, it's lovely to have you." In addition to planning the ceremony to raise the flag, parents and kids are also invited to participate in film projects that introduce the culture and features of the nation.

Ten years ago, the school started to advocate for global education. Even though the pandemic brought challenges over the past two years, the school's zeal for advancing international education has not decreased. Another technique can also become deeper and more comprehensive with the help of students and educators. Students are given the opportunity to sow the seeds of a worldwide perspective.
